It's World Spay Day on February 25. Your donation will be doubled.

With your help, we will spay and neuter 200 pets in February!

Fewer homeless cats. Fewer suffering animals. You can help fix cat homelessness by helping fix cats today.

Your gift today will ensure no kitten goes unloved and unwanted.

Every year, we perform over 3,000 life-changing and life-saving surgeries.

YOUR DONATION AT WORK

Your donation transforms the lives of animals in need. Every dollar you give is a step towards a brighter future for countless animals. Here's how your contributions make a difference:

ZERO animals are turned away

5,229 pets in need helped last year

2,312 spay and neuter surgeries performed in 2024

More than 18,800 kg of emergency pet food distributed

Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to these critical areas, ensuring that, TOGETHER, we can continue our mission to protect, advocate for, and improve the lives of animals. YOU can make a profound impact.

YOU MAKE SECOND CHANCES HAPPEN

Abandoned Puppies

Birdie, Kiwi, Iggy, and Louie — just eight weeks old — were found abandoned in a park, crammed into a cardboard box. They were cold, hungry, and terrified. No food, no water, no protection. Just four tiny lives hanging in the balance.

Your donation today helps rescue, heal, and protect animals like them. Please give now. Every gift brings safety, comfort, and a second chance to an animal who desperately needs it.

Oh by the way, the pug puppies are happy, healthy and safe in their forever homes.

Meet Jade & Her Kittens

Every summer, more newborn kittens arrive at our doors—many born outdoors to unowned, vulnerable cats. Jade, just one year old, was brought to the Ottawa Humane Society while in active labour, thanks to a caring bylaw officer. At our shelter, she safely delivered five healthy kittens: Ruby, Soot, Smog, Quartz, and Opal.

Because of compassionate donors like you, Jade and her babies received the shelter, medical care, and love they desperately needed.

Your donation today gives mothers like Jade—and their kittens—a chance at a safe, healthy life. Please give now. Their future starts with your kindness.

As the summer heat rises, YOUR support becomes more important than ever.

We Care About Ottawa's Animals

Each year, the Ottawa Humane Society cares for thousands of sick, injured and homeless animals, providing leadership in animal welfare to help build a compassionate and a brighter future for our community.

Your generous donation will make a difference in the lives of Ottawa’s less fortunate animals. Donate today and give a second chance!
