A night in honour of those who care

Julie Laporte joined the OHS family in 2001 and was a valued member of the team. She cared deeply for the animals every day of her life with compassion and a loving demeanour. In 2013, Julie tragically passed away from cancer.
On November 3, OHS staff and veterinarians will be volunteering their time to perform 30 spay/neuter surgeries and dental surgeries for Ottawa’s homeless animals. This will reduce the internal surgical waitlist and get many animals one step closer to their forever homes. This is in honour of the dedication and passion that Julie so freely shared.
